Our Environmental Stewardship Promise

At SOS-ASAP Pest Control & Wildlife Removal, our Environmental Pledge reflects a deep commitment to protecting Houston’s unique ecosystems and the health of the people who live, work, and play here. We go beyond basic pest elimination to embrace environmentally responsible practices that safeguard air, water, soil, and non-target wildlife. This means applying our pest control solutions only when necessary, selecting the most targeted and least disruptive options available, and integrating knowledge about pest biology, habitat modification, and preventative techniques to reduce overall chemical use. Our approach aligns with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles, emphasizing ongoing monitoring, precise action thresholds, and a balanced mix of physical, biological, and chemical tools to minimize environmental impact while delivering effective results.

We proudly uphold the standards championed by the Texas Pest Control Association (TPCA) and supported by state regulatory frameworks. TPCA membership represents a dedication to professionalism, continuous education, and industry leadership within Texas, encouraging pest management companies to adopt cutting-edge best practices and maintain high ethical standards in environmental stewardship. Through training, advocacy, and access to resources, these standards help ensure that every technician and applicator on our team is equipped to protect human health and the environment with every service. By embedding these principles into our daily operations, we reinforce our promise to deliver quality pest control that’s respectful of both community and nature.

Our commitment extends to the spirit of the Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program (PESP), a voluntary partnership initiative that historically encouraged pesticide users to reduce risk and embrace innovative methods such as IPM to protect environmental and public health. While the EPA sunsetted PESP in 2025, its legacy continues to guide forward-thinking pest professionals like us to prioritize risk reduction, sustainable decision-making, and ongoing improvement in pest management practices. We incorporate the ethos of stewardship — reducing reliance on broad-spectrum pesticides where possible, choosing products with favorable environmental profiles, and continually refining our strategies to enhance safety and ecological balance — all while delivering the effective pest and wildlife solutions our customers expect.
