Swarm!: How Termites Form a New Colony

What exactly is a termites swarm? Well, it is not an everyday occurrence. In the spring, subterranean termites are known to swarm when they are forming a new colony. This typically occurs after a rain on a warm day. A homeowner may encounter them inside or outside, coming out of walls or woodpiles. If they are inside, that means an existing colony made its way underground, up into the house frame and walls, and the new colony is looking to emerge. In this video, ASAP explains the swarm phenomenon in more detail and how we can help.
